A/N: Technically Sarah vs The Life Unexpected was my second fic I ever wrote, but it kinda became who I was known to be. Molly…I’ve always used my daughter as a reference point. In two weeks she’s moving to a new city, and no, I’m not okay. But, what I do is channel that into a fic, and now…now it’s time.

There was a knock on the door and Chuck went over to open it.
“I’m hommmeeee!”Molly yelled, walking in, followed by Emma carrying Clara.
He stared at the door, fighting the tears. He had known this day would come some day. He thought he had more time. He was so wrong.
In high school, Molly, bored, had decided to take college classes. Some were dual credit, and some were AP. It didn’t matter, she sailed through them to the point Chuck began to wonder exactly how smart her birth parents were.
That began a discussion between the three of them of nature versus nurture. In four years of high school she completed eighty-four hours of college credit. She went to UCLA, lived at home, and graduated with her Bachelors degree in two years.
Chuck turned away from the door, having lost said battle with the tears, and looked at the picture that hung in the dining room. He didn’t even try fighting Sarah when she hung it. He did casually mention that it might upset their other kids, to which she snorted. He
